It’s that time of year, the time when you just got done with high school and are feeling the pressure of going to college. College admissions never have been easy and finding money for college is even harder. Perhaps your parents are pushing you to get your applications in, or perhaps you have enough initiative to get them done yourself. Either way, if you want to get into college, now is the time to act. One of the hardest things for graduating seniors to do this time of year is move on. Sure, perhaps you were the most popular kid in high school, but now its time to act. Don’t just go and forget all those cool accomplishments you had in high school though. You are going to need them to sell yourself!

What you unfortunately didn't realize as you were a younger classman looking longingly up at the upper classman is that your senior year was more than a just a big party. Instead it was the year where had to learn to sell yourself. I know, it doesn't sound right, but in order for you to impress any college admissions officer you have to learn to become a giant billboard, screaming to them and letting them know who you are. So how do you get a college admissions board to notice you? Or how do you score a college scholarship for yourself? In order to help you with this process, I am going to tell you some very easy things that can be done in order to help you in this whole process.

The first thing that is necessary to know is that the application itself is key to your success. Can you imagine how many applications admissions officers receive? How do you make yours different? You need to learn how to stand out from the rest and let them know who you really are. The most obvious thing you must do with your application is make it legible, and professional.

2nd, agreeable speech, use it. Although you may be the coolest kid in school because you can speak "gangsta it is a professional sales pitch. You have to use the best grammar, the finest choice in words, and the most excellent sentence structure you can come up with, principally when you are typing any sort of essay. Remember if it resembles like a song with lyrics from a country music star you know you might want to consider to rewrite it.
